When Elizabeth (Van Buren) Jones was growing up her mother often made her oatmeal for breakfast. At the completion of the meal, she saw her mother apply the remaining portion to her face like a paste or mask. She remembers touching her mother’s face and feeling the softness under her fingers. This early beauty tip was the creative spark she needed to launch her first ever product over 25 years ago: Amazing Grains.

Over 2 decades later, Amazing Grains is still a popular seller. It is a cleanser, mask and body scrub consisting of four ingredients: oat flour, cornmeal, EPK kaolin clay & bentonite clay: the combination that cleans, nourishes and detoxifies while absorbing oil and water-soluble toxins deep within the skin. The oat flour nourishes and regenerates skin cells with a rich vitamin and mineral content. The cornmeal provides a gentle yet highly effective exfoliant to remove dry, dead skin cells and leave the skin silky. It is perfect for all skin types.

We encourage our customers to utilize the following recipes with this product to create Living Masks. These foods added to the Amazing Grains offer their valuable elements to enhance your skin quality. For the greatest benefits from these masks, one should begin with an Amazing Grains cleansing, and then do an Herbal Facial Steam to open the pores and prepare the skin for a mask. Raw fruits and vegetables are rich in plant enzymes. Use only a small amount (1 tsp.) when mixing the mask in a blender, food processor, or bowl.
