Botanical name: Citrus reticulata (synonymous with Citrus nobilis var. deliciosa, C. deliciosa)
Therapeutic Benefit - Mind: Tangerine is uplifting, cheering, refreshing, and soothing. It also can cause a hypnotic effect on the mind.
Therapeutic Benefit - Body: Tangerine is astringent, antiseptic, and antidepressant. It acts as a tonic to the digestive and circulatory system. Tangerine also soothes nervous conditions, smoothes stretch marks, and dispels dizziness.
Therapeutic Benefit - Spirit: Tangerine is an energetic and spiritual oil used in many purification ceremonies.
Application Method: Dilute 10 drops in 1 oz carrier oil, massage oil, or lotion and apply to skin or bath. Use 4 drops in 2 cups of hot water for a steam.
